We thought our Christmas dinner with my wife's parents might get scuttled, and were trying to figure out what to do instead.
I told my wife "Hey, it's Christmas, and we're Jewish*, so let's cook some Chinese food!"
But it turns out our plans are on, so that's off the menu.

-* Sorta. 23andme says I'm >20% Ashkenazi Jewish and my wife is ~10% -- mine is entirely my maternal grandmother so by Jewish custom that actually "makes" me Jewish, although was not raised as such and [obviously] not practicing.
