NYE we'll  be camping, so it's steak night cooked over mesquite coals, asparagus, potatoes au gratin, and Bordeaux, with a cava toast at midnight.
Alton would toss them right on the coals flip them and brush them off

Recipe calls for three glasses of red wine. I'll have to convince my wife that no, two of those aren't for the chef :57:

I always share and send it your way.  We got about 4 yesterday with 50mph wind

roads weren't too bad.  Had my Reaper wings at the bar last night.  Bar was NOT crowded.  Went home early, no one to drink with.

expected 10 inches a week from yesterday, but that's an "extended" forecast.

They're NEVER right

the boss was generous... shut down the office an hour ago.

I checked the small town bar near the office.  Closed

I checked the small town bar where I live, 6 miles from there.  Closed

thought about driving 15 miles to the big city...  but, went home since I'm driving my daughter to her job in 3 hours.

Cleaned the driveway and prepped for oysters tonight and steaks tomorrow
