Wife's dad and stepmom coming today. Not excited because she's a %&#*@ and we pissed her off last Friday by cancelling on plans. (To be honest, I don't think she wanted to do them, and offered my wife an out to cancel, but now I'm sure she's blaming my wife for canceling.)

Oh well. Only two more weeks and they're moving to Phoenix, so it won't be an issue.

Actually I'm quite good at wrapping. It's my meticulous (read: OCD) nature as an engineer. 

But as previously mentioned, I can't curl ribbon.

I know what you mean; my sister does a fantastic job of wrapping really pretty gifts - my husband says why don't they offer wrapping services at the stores anymore and I am somewhere in between.  This year was our new kitties first Christmas (they are about nine months old) and boy, did they absolutely hate the green wrapping paper with Christmas penguins on it that I wrapped hubby's gifts in!  I got up the next morning and they had completely torn it all off, leaving all other differently wrapped presents alone, lol.  They did like to climb around underneath and around the tree but at least did not climb up it or knock it over, thank goodness.  They just knocked off the lower ornaments and played with them, so I was finding them all over the house, lol.  

My mom was great at wrapping gifts to disguise what they were and my dad would take 20 minutes to unwrap his gifts - he would take out his switchblade and very carefully cut the tape, save every ribbon, etc.  Christmas was a fun day in our household!
