all comes down inside of 24 hours.   I'm only stymied by a little snow/ice on the outdoor garland.      'Ernest'....amazing how that character was able to scrape out that much material.  Not even Michael Winslow could get a feature role.

It's a certain kind of well-make TV. Not too complex, comfort food in its way.

Credit to Chuck Lorre. He knows how to make TV like that.

Agree with that. I think most network shows are pretty awful though so not just singling out Big Bang. They’re pretty much all bad. The Office was maybe the only truly great one and I doubt you could even make that today with all the wokies and cry babies.

Well,  it's true that I'm about as nerdy as you can get.

An electrical engineer, who was in band, choir, and theater, who read almost exclusively fantasy and science fiction from the age of 8 through 18, loves Star Wars and Star Trek and Lord of the Rings.

I understand the scientific aspects of the show, I just find it overall to be contrived, obvious, and not-very-funny.  But everyone's entitled to his own opinion.

Judging by your tales of past, um, encounters, with the opposite sex, there's no way you qualify as a real nerd.  

fwiw, I thought the first 4 seasons were pretty good.  It went downhill after that.
