Merry Christmas to all!  Had a very quiet day with my husband, son, and sister.  Hubby bought me exactly what I wanted; a Kitchen Aid mixer with tons of attachments so I can make bread, pasta, shred, chop, dice, etc.  Can't wait to use it.  That man knows just what I want and in the 30+ years we've been married he has never missed (Christmas anyway, lol - he usually combines my November birthday, our November anniversary and Christmas into one big gift - and I'm not complaining one bit!).  

Hope everyone has a very Happy New Year, too.

I don't know.  I hear it's a big tradition in Canada and maybe even parts of Europe.  UK possibly?  I did hear some radio ads about slashed prices on the drive in this morning, so the concept makes sense.  I just have no interest in it.
