Randy Schleusener was an excellent guard on those Nebraska teams at the end of the 1970s.  He was a team captain as a senior in 1980 and earned All-Big Eight and All-America honors. Equally impressive in the classroom, Schleusner was a two-time academic All-American and a winner of the prestigious NCAA Today's Top Eight.

He was a ninth-round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns, but he never played in the NFL. Instead, he chose to come back to school to earn his medical doctorate. He is a practicing spinal surgeon in his native Rapid City, South Dakota.

The Buckeyes were 49-6 with Price as a varsity letterman.
2014 National Champion.
2014 Big Ten Title.
2015 Big Ten East Title.
2016 Big Ten East Title.
2017 Big Ten Title.
Defeated No. 1 Alabama 42-35 to win the 2015 Sugar Bowl.
Defeated No. 2 Oregon 42-20 to win the CFP National Championship.
Defeated No. 8 Notre Dame to win the 2016 Fiesta Bowl.
Defeated No. 8 USC  24-7 to win the 2017 Cotton Bowl.
Went 4-0 against That Team.

Randy Gradishar is considered one of the most versatile, mobile and complete linebackers ever to play college football. He was a two-time All-American, three-time all-Big Ten choice and was a member of two consecutive Big-Ten Championship teams.
He led the team in tackles in 1973 with 134. Gradishar won Academic All-America honors in 1973
