No. 92 Adolphus Washington
Ohio State's defensive line under Urban Meyer has been one of the strengths of his program since coming to Columbus in 2012, and the next man on our list was a big reason why.
DL Adolphus Washington
2012-2015
b. Nov. 24, 1994 (Cincinnati, Ohio)
National Champion (2014)
Second-Team All-Big Ten (2015)
Honorable Mention All-Big Ten (2014)
Adolphus Washington signed to play for Ohio State as part of Meyer's first recruiting class in 2012 and made an immediate impact. The Cincinnati native earned his first individual accolades in 2014, as he was named as an All-Big Ten honorable mention. Washington accumulated 10.5 tackles for loss that season and 4.5 sacks as Ohio State won its first national title in 12 years.

No. 91 Jim Cope
It takes a special player to start for three years and win three-straight Big Ten titles, but that's exactly what Jim Cope did.
DE
1972-1974
b. June 23, 1953 (Oil City P.A.)
Three-year starter
Big Ten Champion (1972, '73, '74)
Rose Bowl Champion (1973)
Cope started for three seasons on the Ohio State defensive line, helping lead the Buckeyes to a share of three-consecutive Big Ten championships and a 1974 Rose Bowl victory. Though he played opposite of All-American defensive end Van DeCree throughout his career, it was Cope who led the team in tackles for a loss during the 1973 and '74 seasons, recording eight each year.Perhaps Cope's most important accomplishment was his unblemished record against Michigan. During his time at Ohio State, the Buckeyes beat the Wolverines two times and tied once. Each time, Bo Schembechler's squad was ranked in the top four.
