IU is working to find an opponent for October 7th which would have been a bye week.

Gotta be someone out there, but it's also gotta be someone that needs another game too. You can only play 12.

Arkansas State could be available, if they could play their game against Georgia Southern the week before.

The bummer is Indiana could be flirting with that 6-6 line, and this is about as sure a win as was on their schedule.

If they can't get it done, I would hope the NCAA would give a waiver that a 5-6 Indiana team should be treated as 6-6 for bowl selection purposes.

I thought that would be the case for Illinois this weekend but it looks like @USF is a go for Friday night.
