When is a burger not a sandwich?

When it’s a steak.  Smothered in brown gravy, and sautéed onions.

One of the Greatest Movies of All Time.

I was referencing Office Space to a coworker yesterday and then I realized she's like 24.
I'm realizing "it was a 90s movie" is a cringe share nowadays.

The 90s were excellent and sucks for them that they have no idea.

Still a burger, but only as a special case. It's taking a food that is defined as having a certain ingredient on the top and bottom and replacing it to fulfill a dietary purpose that you can't fulfill with the original product.

I can say as someone that back in the day did Atkins and ordered my share of double-doubles "protein style", it wasn't a selection I would have taken if I wasn't on a self-imposed dietary restriction. Now that I'm not doing low-carb, I *never* order it like that.
What about that in n out burger with the lettuce as the bun?

It's a movie, not a series.  Maybe they followed with one, I know there is something called Office out there I think, I never watched it.  When I was working, I had these folks in India send me a weekly summary of competitive patents which I literally put a cover sheet on and sent it out to over 100 people.  When I was given this job, I renamed it The Patent Summary Report.  In 8 years of sending it, I had one person note the association.

The issue often is whether these include the essential amino acids in paired quantities.  Corn and beans does this, but not each one along.

Beans are incomplete proteins because they are low in one key amino acid (amino acids are used by the body to build protein) called methionine. Cereal grains—including corn, rice and wheat—are high in methionine yet lack another amino acid found in beans.

I enjoy a good chopped steak now and then. Add mushrooms too.

A good burger, no bun, to me is almost as good as a decent steak, depending.  I'm still having great luck with flatirons from Kroger.  I splurged a bit the other day on a prime ribeye from the local butcher, frankly I was a bit disappointed at $30 a pound, bone in.

Our Kroger has really good sushi, which of course I consider to be a sandwich.
