Former NFL head coach Jon Gruden said he is remorseful for derogatory remarks he made last season that cost him his job with the Las Vegas Raiders and hopes to return to coaching one day. Earlier this month, Gruden addressed college coaching rumors from 2012 at the Little Rock Touchdown Club that linked him to the Arkansas and he expressed interest in the idea of being the Razorbacks' coach one day if it were to come open.
“I was concerned about being a college coach because I would have ya on the death penalty probation within six months,” Gruden said. "But, now that you’re paying players — and I know a bank with $27 billion — I’d love to have the Arkansas job. I’ll tell you that."
