The line is Iowa -3.5 with an O/U of 40. That suggests a final score of 22-18 in favor of the Hawkeyes.

That would require Iowa to kick six FG's and get two safeties. I don't doubt the two safeties but I think that six FG's are way beyond the capability of the Iowa offense.

Maybe the wise guys are thinking eight safeties and two FG's?

Iowa football is making some changes following its 7-3 punt-fest victory against South Dakota State Saturday.

The major moves will take place on the offensive line. Connor Colby will be shifting inside to right guard following a bad showing from the interior offensive linemen last week against the Jackrabbits.

Here’s the rest of the offensive depth chart.

I see HB Gavin Williams is back but still no WR  keegan Johnson.

I still say it's time to switch to the 4 TE lineup.

Not sure if you are saying Iowa is getting heavier or was typically heavier in the past,  but if the goal was to beef up to 300 pounds so that they could just push the defense down the field,  that did not work for Iowa against SDSU.

It's pretty obvious Iowa can't move the ball with its straight ahead approach. The theory is Iowa is going to have to mix in mis-direction and trick plays. That seemed to work well against MD last year,  but after MD, it didn't.  Most Big Ten teams don't get fooled with that stuff.

I might be wrong, but I remember Iowa O-lines being well over 300lbs for guards and tackles

maybe it was just that the Husker D-line was pathetic?
