It will be the most dominating 17-3 game of all time.
wouldn't be so sure of that. Mark always has the Spartans ready to play Michigan. Every damn year. It's a throw out the records, throw out how either team has looked sort of game. It'll be a defensive sluggfest til the end. I think.

I DO hope that the Michigan coaches have spent the past two weeks re-tooling the Michigan offense though. Hopefully they try to clean up all the mental errors on the OL- they've had trouble on the interior identifying who to block when defensive linemen stunt or LB's blitz. Also hope they decide to start playing Wheatley JR more and have him on the line to help out the RT Ulizio who has been a real weak spot. Also hope they also decide to take advantage of O'Korn's running ability and start moving the pocket- have him run some boot-legs and throw on the run. Maybe even mix in some designed QB runs or two. Also hope they break down the film and realize they need to stop running into the teeth of 9 man fronts on 1st down only to get 1-2-3 yards max- they have to start opening it up and throwing on 1st down to get defenses to relax at the line of scrimmage. They also NEED to bench Crawford in favor of Donovan Peoples Jones. Crawford is not good. Any playing time and footballs that go his way are a waste that should be going to a superior players way in Donovan Peoples Jones. They need to get DPJ going. Now.

This is all pretty simple stuff. It'll blow my mind if they don't fix some of these issues. It's pretty basic crap. Not rocket science.

I think Michigan will do little, but not a ton on offense, but I don't think MSU will do a damn thing.  It might be like MSUs 10-3 win over OSU in 2011.  A weird one score game that is never in doubt.

I've learned to expect the unexpected in this game. I have no idea what will happen. Just know it will be a slugfest that will go down to the wire.
MSU definitely improved over last season. And Michigan's O has taken steps backwards largely because of some problems with the OL and the QB.

MSU is going to need big special teams plays and to win the turnover battle.

Aside from Allen, they started a true freshman, a redshirt freshman and two true sophomores on the OL and it looked it.  They generated absolutely zero run blocking.  And while Iowa's defense is no slouch, Michigan's line is a whole different level of nasty.  I know Brown is Dr. Blitz, but I don't see why he'll have to.  They are going to cause all kinds of having with just four.

well MSU had maybe the biggest special teams play ever to win the game in 2015. That one still breaks my heart to this day. I hope that the football gods giving MSU's special teams play the gift of the millennium on that one should mean they get no more from here to eternity. That's what I fricken hope at least. Lol.

Michigan's OL hasn't fared much better. Nolan Ulizio has been beaten like a drum all game long every game. He has been all-time bad. That injury to Grant Newsome has been devastating to the 2017 OL. If Newsome is healthy he's the LT and Mason Cole is the RT and Ulizio is on the bench where he belongs. The interior OL has trouble with DL stunts as well- Kugler and Onwenu are really playing for the first time ever. When they know who to block- they block- but problem is they don't always know. Ulizio is just bad. He is terrible. One of the worst tackles I have ever seen at Michigan. Even when they were bad under Rodriguez and Hoke they still had pretty decent tackles. If Ulizio is the best RT they have- really makes me question the OL recruiting. But these are the same coaches that kept on trotting out Speight and De'Veon Smith- and keep on playing Dylan Crawford over DPJ- so their judgement when it comes to personnel probably isn't the best.

Michigan's starting 4 has been nasty- Winovich and Hurst are both playing like 1st round guys. Mone has been solid when he's played and Gary hasn't been blowing up the stat sheet but he's been eating double teams on damn near every play and is getting pressures. Just hasn't translated into sacks yet. Gary can still take his game up another notch- and when he does that defense will get scary. The depth at DL just hasn't been there. Every one behind those 4 with the exception of Lawrence Marshall is basically a 1st or 2nd year guy. Was really hoping to see more out of Marshall. Kind of disappointed. He needed to take his game up a notch and he hasn't.

I still think Brown will call up blitzes. That's who he is. You'll probably see LB's Devin Bush, Mike McCray, Noah Furbush, and "Viper" Khaleke Hudson all have some blitzes drawn up for them.

Stanley coughing it up on the 5 or so yard line, absolute killer.

this had to be a tough game for the Hawks after the gut wrenching loss, but now you gotta wonder if this thing starts to spiral out of control
