One thing about posting political stuff on line, it is VERY unlikely to change opinions.  At best, it may inform someone of some news, and provide a different way of thinking about thing.  Changing minds radically on some topic is not going to happen.

And of course, in some cases posts are just meant to rile someone else up, which I guess is fine if someone can be riled up that way.
