same as seeing poor folks kids daily
Yep, exactly the same.

Walking by, doing whatever he does = being in a classroom with them 6 hours a day, providing their only actual winning lottery ticket out of poverty

Ted Cruz is 100000% on the Epstein Mossad blackmail tapes banging kids. his devotion to Israel is just weird as absolute fck- and it has to go beyond AIPAC giving him $2 million. we know he is a dumb ass and a whore for sale with zero principle or moral character- but this is just.....fcking bizarre.

Corporate cocks, and of course the Gov't allows dying, demented Dianne Feinstein to be propped up and vote in favor of a defense appropriations bill that allocated approximately $831 billion to the Department of Defense. Her portfolio was reportedly tied in with stocks involving Pentegon contracts thru her husband. We're all so screwed

I still encourage everyone to follow Unusual Whales on X and BlueSky.  They cover the news at large, but their main purpose is tracking all of the sketchy investments of our elected officials, on both sides, and they dive deep

Its sickening

Sad how every time we defund things recklessly, from the police to the NOAA, people die.

Almost like we shouldnt just blindly vote to defund.  But that doesnt fit on a bumper sticker

Just to be clear, are you making a reference to the flash flood deaths in Texas?  Or something else?

I don't know about the horrible discourse online, but the NWS made an appropriate warning with enough time for everyone to respond.  For a multitude of reasons, the local camps and campgrounds most severely affected, either didn't hear it, or didn't heed it, in time.

It's absolutely a tragedy but the NWS appropriately evaluated the risks and broadcast them, the failure was in the reception and subsequent action, or inaction, after that.

Local governments blamed the lack of warnings, and the predictable online response was "well this is was you voted for"

Good times
