Zero chance.

They can talk all they want, it's fine.  But they're not about to abandon the USA as an ally and trading partner.  It's silly to even suggest it.

SK and Japan have to be seen as doing something for public consumption internally.  The actions are purely for show.  A lot of stuff is "posturing" for internal consumption.

The Iranian attack on Qatar is another example.  At some point, soon I'd guess, Israel and Iran will run short of missiles.  Israel claims to have "air superiority" over Tehran, which probably is true, so the could "dumb bomb" if they wanted.

I think what concerns me most with this is the possibility of an attack within our borders. We don't know who got in here from January 2021 to January 25. We do know that Iranian nationals were allowed in, but we don't know how many were "gotaways" who managed to avoid border patrol that was overwhelmed.

Start by shooting the assholes who allowed it in the 1st place or at least prosecute them for treason.

of course not, they need our vast consumer market for their exports. I never suggested they would abandon the USA either.

I was merely stating that I would rather not upset actual important allies like them and would like for us to pivot towards Asia and pivot away from the absolutely insane and wholly reckless lunatic fanatical like allegiance and devotion and full-stop backing of Israel to the hilt no matter what- from enabling them to commit a nearly 60 years long military occupation and genocide with our weapons to fighting their wars for them- as it has been AWFUL for THIS COUNTRY and is nothing but a net negative to THIS COUNTRY.

Israel is an insignificant worthless pissant of a country in a bad neighborhood that has no important exports or natural resources the United States needs or needs to be attached to in some way- they are nothing but a financial, military, & diplomatic drain on the United States. Time to cut bait and run away from Israel. Naturally we'll still have to maintain some presence in the region as countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, & Kuwait actually do matter and are of great strategic importance to the United States and the world economy due to their natural resources.

Oh yeah, not to mention as I've stated at least 20 times in here- every single dollar of aid the US sends to Israel violates US law. Funny how no one in US media or any US politicians hardly if ever mention this.

If this is really it, I'm just glad as hell it's over.

I have my doubts that this is the end of it, but it's certainly a positive step for now.

I sincerely hope it means it's over, and that it will stay over.
