I won't say I'm disappointed in Trump, I'm very nervous about this attack.

It COULD end well.  I'd opine the chances of that nearer term are not high.

this is just one more disappointment

I don't recall ever being disappointed in DJT.

I noted a while back that often it seems a region we visit ends up fairly shortly thereafter in open conflict.  I could include the recent brief India-Pakistan event.  We transited the Straits of Hormuz back in April.  It was a night, this was the second time we passed through, both times at night.  We were in Israel a couple years back and passed Yemen at that time going into the Red Sea.  We had planned a cruise to St. Petersburg just before Russia invaded Ukraine.  We also were in South Korea and Taiwan in March.

We might get the Ignobel War Prize.

I think to be disappointed a person first needs to have some positive expectations.

Except look at the financial gains.  I would follow Unusual Whales, which tracks the trading of Senators.  It would make you sick.  They reported today Trump made $57 million off his made up crypto coin, which I believe is presently worth nothing.  Getting elected used to being a very lucrative post service career, with very little work.  somehow they realized that nobody actually calls them on their bullshit, and they are all getting rich while "serving" now.  And that's on the gains they actually don't hide
Jon Stewart had a thing a while back, after that NJ Senator went to jail where he thoroughly lambasted both parties on this issue. One of the people he named was Pelosi, see link below.

Please don't take this as me suggesting that Pelosi specifically or Democrats generally are alone on this because she and they are most definitely not. Stewart listed probably half a dozen from each party, it was sickening.

it's not a Trump or Biden or Pelosi thing or a Democrat or Republican thing- it's the lot of them- DC is a corrupt rats nest- and they all use their status and power to make ill gotten personal gains and they all sell their votes/policy making to the highest bidding lobby groups. Trump's case is a tiny bit different as he was already extraordinarily wealthy before he ever got into politics- JFK/RFK/Teddy Kennedy also come to mind immediately as similar cases- but few of those types go into politics from super wealthy elite families- usually those types just buy off the politicians- not become them.

Got a text about Bibi being pretty smart here, and I had to agree there.
he is a murderous war criminal psychopath with no soul wanted by International Criminal Courts for good reason- but there is zero denying the guy is an evil genius who is infinitely more ruthless, intelligent, and cunning than Donald Trump- who he just rolled over here. I believe the man graduated from MIT & Harvard with multiple degrees and he got into two of the most prestigious school in the entire world on his own merits- not because his brother was friends with an admissions officer and his obscenely rich father wrote a check (which is how Trump got into Wharton).

Ironically his brother was a key part of his rise. But not in a particularly nefarious way.
