A person can be detained without due process for up to 72 hours, legally.

Generally, law enforcement must bring an arrested person before a judge or magistrate within a reasonable time, which is usually considered to be within 72 hours of arrest. This is known as arraignment, where the judge informs the defendant of the charges, their rights (including the right to an attorney), and sets the conditions for their release.

more like Elon threw an autistic rage fit when he realized his $300 million he spent to help get Trump elected didn't afford him control of the Presidents policies. I happen to agree with Elon that the big beautiful bill is an atrocious piece of shit and that eliminating all EV subsidies while touching none of the oil & gas is stupid- but Elon could've handled his disagreements with Trump like an adult and not like a psycho complaining to the manager Karen. Donald Trump is the wrong guy to play that shit on- cause he'll be 10x as petty and despicable back.

And that underlined part, please. the Democrats are just as for sale as the Republicans. the Democrats used to lick Elon's balls and if he switches to their side again and pledges his billions to help them get elected they'll wash his balls with their tongues once more.

Be nice if Mr Orange Man would eliminate all subsidies. Then break up the Oil monoply the has held firm since the syndicate that reformed right after they broke up  John D.'s syndicate

I have looked for these "subsidies" that folks claim Big Oil get and never found them, there is an oil depletion allowance, which isn't a subsidy.  And there is no MONOpoly in oil of course outside OPEC+ over which we have zero control.  And of course several of the Big Oil companies are foreign, Shell, BP, etc.
