sometimes I make mistakes
I was at a bar at 1 am last week. It was not something I want to do more than once in a blue moon.

That makes sense.

From what you’ve said, the town is catering to a demographic that might be up with the sun.
Pretty much.

When we first got here it was kinda weird. Places turn the lights on at 8:45.

I just watched a video of the lady trying to climb through a broken window around some doors barricaded by police.

See my second paragraph.

The concern for the woman who was shot, also interesting. People like to talk about shooting folks who break into places. Those same people are suddenly real worried about someone getting shot while breaking into a place.
As you certainly should know, Police are held to a higher legal standard in these situations than civilians.  There is also a legal difference (in most states) between a person defending their home and a person outside of their home.

In my home, in Ohio I'd have been 100% justified shooting a person in that situation but I'm a civilian and I stipulated in my home.  The Capitol Police Officer who executed Ashil Babbit was neither.

Face it, if the Cop had been white and Ashli Babbit had been a preferred minority left-wing protestor, the cop would be in jail.

FWIW, my thoughts on J6:
The J6 protestors were idiots.  They believed that we have Equal Protection under the Law in this country and thus that they would be treated with the same kid-gloves used to treat left-wing protestors.  How could they be so blind?

Of course Equal Protection died long ago.  Nonsensical left-wing protestors generally don't get arrested, if they do they get bailed out by Kamala Harris or George Soros and they never face serious charges nor serious investigations.

Deplorable protestors have facial ID software deployed against them so that they WILL get arrested, charged, held, and persecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

The first part is true, but LEOs get pretty broad deference in shooting folks.

The last part strikes me as basically unbelievable. Some people would’ve agitated for that. But I’m quite skeptical in that situation, a cop would end up jailed.

I think you might just know the team.

If that was a lib mob that did that, with the sentences many got, lord, folks would be posting “treason is legal” on this board for years.

I’ve thought about this quite a bit and I honestly don’t know how or why the capitol police didn’t kill more trespassers than they did. It was their job to protect the capitol and they did not. Immediately after 1/6 stories were floating around that the CP were just letting people in. Certainly there was groups that were smashing windows and mobbing but there were also groups walking calmly around. It’s weird.
