Bad for criminal illegals? Bad for you and me?

There's a difference.

Your ideas (I'm going out of my way here, not to say YOU) are unAmerican, friend.  

This has nothing to do with illegals.  Let's share the same reality so that an actual conversation may occur.

But honestly....even the normal ones are kneeling before this dipshit who isn't worthy of any of it.  He's not smart.  He's not ethical.  He's not even shrewd.

Basically it talks about how shockingly low the pay was for someone who worked at McD’s, compares how little they make compared to the poverty level without putting anything into context, how old they were, did they live at home, etc. 

The only ones getting rich off the asbestos settlement funds are the lawyers.  My dad was an electrician in the 50s and 60s and developed asbestosis in his lungs.  Had to hire an attorney to get access to the funds.  Had to go thru all the different brands and types of products to determine what funds he had access to.  My dad was ridiculously honest and if he couldn't remember a brand from 50 years earlier he wouldn't say he did. He even as us kids who were pre-teens then if we had seen particular brand lsbels with stuff he brought home. Then the lawyer would apply to settlement funds and then money would slowly ticket in a few thousand at a time.  He probably received around 50k before it killed him.  Mom received another 15k after dad died.  

Not much for the suffering he went through. 

The Japanese interred by Roosevelt were denied due process.  It was pretty egregious in my mind.  They were US citizens.

The Constitution seems pretty clear on this point.  

Maybe someone has a different view of "DOGE".  My view is it's a scam, maybe they do trim a bit of spending.

But Congress appropriates money to be spent, not to do so is impoundment.  An Administration has usually some control over how it is spent.

This Congress does not appear able to cut actual spending.  Trump's proposed budget doesn't trim spending.  Spending is going to be higher when all is said and done.  If the deficit shrinks at all, it will be minimally (IFF the economy continues to expand).

The notion DOGE would somehow cut "trilions" or even "hundreds of millions" made no sense to me then, and less sense now, if possible.

I have no doubt a ton of Federal money is wasted or spent foolishly, but major cuts have to come from Congress.  And that isn't happening.

Many of the cuts are contract cancellations, staff cuts or asset sales.  Nothing about that is a scam. Might not add up to much given the INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF FRAUD AND WASTE.  But it is real.
