I just crossed it from Page, AZ up through Monument Valley without incident.

Though a lot more litter than one might expect. They appear to drink by Texas rules, where you have to smash the bottle into a million pieces as soon as you are done consuming its content.

When I moved there, I thought the same thing.  Tons of trash trapped by the fencing.

Good for today. I can imagine seeing some profit takers out tomorrow.

I wonder if @OrangeAfroMan pulled the trigger on those indexes.

He can't say we didn't tell him too.
A volatile environment isn't a wise investment strategy.  Trump is kicking the can down the road and in 30 days, who's to say it won't fall off another cliff?

I'll wait until volatility is lower.  Probably in 2029.

I trust the smart fellers that I pay well to handle my investments.
It's mostly in fairly safe stuff (S&P 500) and they've been doing as well as the S&P or a half point to a couple points better for a long time.
When the markets are going up & down and up and down, it's an opportunity for those guys to make me some $$$.

Trump doesn't know how to play 2D chess, much less 4D.  Explaining away his dipshit ideas as 4D chess is horse shit, and akin to attributing bad outcomes to "god works in mysterious ways."
Avalanche of bull shit.
I've only ever seen 4D chess used condescendingly, which is how I used it.

But just in the expected 2-3 dimensions.

We expect nearly the same level of shilling as the democrats do for democrats, without going full retard.

And as as a gesture of good will, and fairness -- here is the Right going full retard for reference:

Besides badly misreading slugsrbad's intent, explain in detail what you think is so disastrous, and why.  You're great at calling him a dipshit and an idiot and how everything is terrible with him.  You're noticeably light on talking about anything specific that's so terrible or proves he doesn't know anything.  You claim to know little about the financial world, but you certainly don't mind weighing in on his missteps.

It's easy to make a case if you don't like what Trump is about.  It's not so easy to make the case that he's not good at achieving a result he's aiming for.  That's a guy you disagree with, or possibly hate, and honestly, that's the case you should stick to.

There's a distinction between really disliking the policies, actions, or personality of a president, and mindlessly calling them a dipshit, incompetent, etc.  I saw the same thing many times from conservative people with Obama.  They liked to hurl the same dull, empty insults.

I disagree.  You may not like Obama or what he was about, but if you know what he was about and what he wanted out of his time in office, I don't think you can call him an idiot or anything like that.  He was actually fairly competent in getting done the things he wanted to get done.

Study out of Rutgers finds that among self-described left-of-center people, 48% and 55% percent say murdering Elon Musk and Donald Trump, respectively, is at least somewhat justified.

Houston, we have a problem.

I didn't much care for Obama, but I thought he did a decent job as president, even if I didn't like a lot of his policies.
