They are literally doing their jobs: enforcing the Constitution, including the checks and balances built into the three co-equal branches of government. If the government proves its case, the people get deported. While they are working on it, they remain confined. That's how it works, and how it has always worked. Presumably the government will have no trouble meeting the low burden required to deport people if they have caught dangerous criminals.

If you start to pick and choose which parts of the Constitution get enforced, you lose the Constitution. Surely that's not what you want.

there is no doubt in my mind that Trump has gone over board and pushed the limits of his power with some things (the case of the Columbia student green card holder for example) - but this is not unique to him every president before him as pushed the limits of presidential power.

the deportation of motherfucking ILLEGAL ALIENS with rap sheets and gang affiliations is not one of these things however. he is well within his rights to forcibly remove this scum.

It’s absolutely beyond absurd that a judge would try to block this. Joke is on the judge because these shitbag pieces of human shit have already been sent to maximum security cages in El Salvador where hopefully they are being tortured by guards and living in miserable conditions- and the president of El Salvador ain’t sending them back, ever. Jokes on this dipshit judge. El oh El.

They were not deported.  They were forcibly removed without due process.  The power President Trump cited applies to declared wars. Just hand waving war on terror and crime should not get rid of the normal deportation process.

As a vibe, it makes sense for the chief law enforcement official (The President) to be able to deport illegal criminal immigrants.  However we are a nation of laws, not vibes.

I think a majority of Americans dont like foreign students here on a green card protesting against the US on anything. Those folks need to be sent home.  They are here as a guest and good behavior is expected.
They won't let me give blood anymore. The burnt orange color scares the hell out of the doctors.

This does leave a bad taste in my mouth. But then I consider how the previous administration abandoned their duty to keep a lot of people out in the first place. Lots of shady shit going down on both sides of the aisle.

Please don't pretend Trump is the other side of a coin.  He's a different animal altogether.  Obviously.

They never should have been allowed in this country in the first place. Had the prevoius admin done it's job and turned them away at the border, they would not need to be removmed the way their are.

As far as due process, when someone breaks in and makes their self at home in your dwelling, do you wait for a judge to tell you that you can remove them before kicking them out? Why should the country be any different. They don't deserver due process, they are not here legally to begin with.

Honestly , OAM, I really don't feel that way.  I used to consider myself a moderate, but the left has went so far left I find myself being pushed more to the right.  8 years ago, I detested Trump.  Now, I only detest him half the time.

They were not deported.  They were forcibly removed without due process.
That had entered the country under a previous administration's false auspices that not only ignored applying for citizenship process but the country's Homeland Security measures that were disregarded. The previous propped up president commuted almost 1500 sentences.

Hours before the Inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump , President Joe Biden issued preemptive pardons for Dr. Anthony Fauci, members of Congress who investigated the Jan. 6 Capitol Riot and others who he said are under threat of being "baselessly" targeted for political purposes.

Where was the uproar when the "rioters" due process was trampled on,circumnavigated and cast asunder? Well read these rare gems that were mined by Brandon's handlers for our edification

"These public servants have served our nation with honor and distinction and do not deserve to be the targets of unjustified and politically motivated prosecutions," Biden said in a press release. "I believe in the rule of law, and I am optimistic that the strength of our legal institutions will ultimately prevail over politics. But these are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing."

The statement stressed that the pardons "should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that any individual engaged in any wrong doing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense."

Does anyone really believe Brandon whipped those whoppers up? Sure we'll by that shit, of course

Minutes before his term was set to end, Biden announced that he was also pardoning several members of his family, including his brother James Biden, sister-in-law Sara Biden, sister Valerie Biden Owens, brother-in-law John T. Owens and brother Francis Biden.

In a statement to NBC News, President-elect Trump called the pardons "disgraceful," saying many of those pardons are "guilty of major crimes."

How about this:

https://youtu.be/dEZhI7i6uvc

Among those covered in what the Biden White House is calling "the largest single-day act of clemency by a U.S. president" was Rita Crundwell, a former comptroller in Dixon, Illinois. Crundwell was convicted and sentenced to nearly 20 years behind bars for using her position to steal nearly $54 million from the small town best known for the boyhood home of Ronald Reagan.

Even his administration proclaimed "the largest single-day act of clemency by a U.S. president" like that was somehow a badge of honor worthy of noting - SMDH. Now if Brandon waved that blatant & obvious plundering of the tax payer's vault what else would he sweep under the rug where he and those he pardoned reside?

Same-same, didn't hate him but he didn't get my vote then either. solid Dems Bill Maher and Jon Stewart have called out the far left hamlet of unhinged halfwits. Even Zuckerber/Facebook pointed out the deception from Brandon's Admin.

On an episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience" released Friday Jan. 10, 2025, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg painted a picture of Biden administration officials berating Facebook staff during requests to remove certain content from the social media platform.

"Basically, these people from the Biden administration would call up our team and, like, scream at them and curse," Zuckerberg told podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan. "It just got to this point where we were like, 'No, we're not gonna, we're not gonna take down things that are true. That's ridiculous.'"
