Is the AR-15 jammed up?
Hit them with the AR first? Bullets are expensive

What about if you are stuck behind them for like three or four holes, and they don't invite you to play through?

All I can say is that I think I now know which posters on this forum will hit driver off the tee while the group in front of them is still right in the middle of the fairway waiting for the green to clear because the round is "too slow"...
I've been in that situation a couple of times. Generally, people will let you play through. If not, we just sit back and enjoy the fact that we are out golfing and not sitting at a desk working.

What's weird is that while I pretty much agree with utee94's assessment of "Dickface Putin" as he refers to him, to my knowledge the Russian Orthodox church is in relatively good shape.  For Russian history, I mean.

But Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian government has apparently been putting the absolute screws to the Ukrainian Orthodox church.  Like.....those people are being legit persecuted, if the reports are true.

That I've found, said reports are hard to come by, and I only know if it via the testimonies of some relative nobodies speaking out, and I find their accounts plausible.  No major media that I know of is covering that, and if true....that's really bad.
if you really want to know more about this, listen to interviews with Bob Amsterdam- an American Jew and very prominent lawyer involved in many high profile international cases for the last 40 years- who is now representing the Ukrainian Orthodox Church pro bono.

The guy isn't exactly a fan of Putin or Russia by the way- as Putin had his thugs arrest Amsterdam at 2am in the morning in Moscow when Amsterdam was in the country working on a case to defend Mikhail Khodorkovsky in the early 2000s- who at the time was one of the wealthiest people in Russia and Putin's chief political rival- whom Putin ultimately arrested and threw in jail for a decade and confiscated Khodorkovsky's wealth. Amsterdam was detained and arrested in the dead of night in his hotel room, deported from Russia and is still barred from entering the country to this day.

No major legacy corporate media is reporting it because it'd go against the narrative and all.

We have a subscription to Foreign Affairs that I have rarely read recently. I picked up this month's issue (March/April) and, wow, there's a lot in it worth reading. Foreign Affairs is an opinion journal--it isn't news--but it's editorially pretty balanced. Putin's Ukraine
Putin's Ukraine
(pay wall) is pretty interesting reading on Putin, Russia, and the Russification of (parts of) Ukraine (written by a Ukranian journalist, so you can imagine not terribly friendly to Russia/Putin). Doesn't sound like a place I would want to be.
I wouldn't want to be in either country. Even before this war.

Thank god I hit the lottery and was born and raised in the USA.

AS mentioned, my daughter lives in Vancouver, BC, and apparently is aiming to stay there.  She has applied for their "green card".  I've visited twice, and it's a nice place, expensive, but the CA dollars are cheap at least.  She is still waiting to get a doctor (after 2+ years, they get assigned one apparently).  She doesn't have a car and lives about 3 blocks from her workplace basically downtown.

Obviously much of Canada gets too cold for my tastes, but Vancouver seems liveable aside from CoL.

If she thinks she's waited a long time to get a doctor, just wait til she actually needs one.  It'll seem even longer to get an appointment.  And then their amazing single payer system half of Americans think they want here will deny just about everything you want to do anyway.

We had some patients from Canada, and my wife knows a couple doctors in our area from Canada.  Provider and patient....they left for a reason.

There is a clinic she goes to apparently to get prescriptions for this and that.

My wife has some interesting comments about the French health care system.  Two of her cousins are MDs.

I've been to Vancouver and it has Seattle weather, where it kind of bottoms out around 40.

The said they get occasional snow.  If it passes 80°F in summer they send out heat alerts.  We were there in July and this happened.  Very nice days.

I got some occasional snow last night/this morning
it'll be gone this afternoon
hoping for an afternoon passing 80, but not expecting it for a month or so
