Does Tom Brady have any more eligibility?

B/C Belichick didn't win shit without Brady.

West Virginia is set to hire RichRod. Talk about a blast from the past.

WVU and UNC both going ancient & washed up for their coaching hires. impressive.

Brian Griese and Scott Dreisbach?

Brady actually started two seasons at Michigan and had a 20-5 starting record and won a Big Ten championship and went 2-0 in his two bowl game starts vs SEC teams....you know twice as many wins as Ohio State has against the SEC in bowl games in it's programs history! It's amazing that people don't know this when there is something called the internet out there....

His final season at Michigan, Tom Brady started every game but Lloyd Carr would rotate Henson in and then go with whoever he thought had "the hot hand" from there. After the 6th or 7th game Lloyd Carr stopped doing that shit and just kept Brady in full-time the rest of the way.

So all Belichick has to do is clear that bar, in order to accomplish more than Tom Brady did at the Collegiate level?

Belichik is basically a .500 NFL coach without Brady. I think the dude is the greatest defensive coach the NFL has ever seen, but how many 18-21 year old kids will be able to pick up his complex schemes? And how good will he be able to recruit? And will his talent evals be any good? For as great of a coach as he was- he was a fricken lousy personnel guy when it came to the draft. He was actually pretty terrible at drafting players. He just happened to win the $2 billion power ball lottery ticket in the 6th rd.

You think he won't be able to recruit?

"So do you think that you have what it takes to play in the NFL?" *casually flashes six super bowl rings* "I may still have a few connections."

His name should be able to attract recruits AWAY FROM the likes of UVA/Wake/NCSU/et al.

I recall how many folks were critical of the Deion hire at Colorado, but he's now doing pretty well, I think.  I don't think "we" can know how these gambits will fare.
