Booze brings out the accents of ladies.
What's Brian Kelly's excuse?

Oh, that's right... It's insincerity.

I forgot to mention.

I bought myself a Florida Gators t-shirt.
I’m sure you did not buy via the company homefield, but they do a lot of throwback stuff, and their Florida collection is fantastic. Like I don’t want a Florida shirt, but I would consider some of theirs.

There is something a bit weird, to me, about arguing "My school is better than your school", if "my school" is on a losing streak, academics will come up, if that's an option, and then of course cheating, paying players, having criminals on your team, etc.

I got on the elevator yesterday with a fellow wearing a Tech shirt, I then noticed I was wearing a Dawgs sweater, he mentioned that we had backed into the CG, which is true.  We wished each other a good day.

I always feel odd saying "Have a nice day" to people on the elevator, it happens often.  It's like "Have a great Birthday!!!".  OK, thanks, I guess.

This is the view out our window today:

Somebody once told me that State Farm agents have to have a college degree, in something.  Someone else said that isn't true, but I suspect selling insurance is a pretty placid job.  My neice got an expensive degree in psychology from Emory and her first job was ... selling insurance.  She did that until she became a mom, lately she's going into nursing as they are about out of the house.

I doubt many kids think "I wanna sell insurance when I grow up", but many end up doing just that.  I liked State Farm, had a good agent back in the day, my wife had another company that was pretty good, and when we moved here I ended up with Progressive, which so far is OK.  Everything with them is on line which I like.

I ended up rather burnt out at work and found a total sinecure, paid the same, MUCH less actual work involved.  I was lucky, I guess, though I suspect had I stayed put I would have been bumped up another notch, which is really of no consequence now.

I’m always impressed with folks who can do sales. It’s very out of my wheelhouse. (I used to have a job with some public facing and schmoozing elements, and those were usually the weakest part of what I did.

mmmmm favorite burger toppings.

I like most kinds of cheese.  Bacon, of course.  Grilled onions, grilled jalapenos.  Mushrooms go great with Swiss cheese.  Lettuce and tomato are always good.

Pickles should return to the hell from whence they came and rot there for eternity.
You can put a dollop of guacamole on a burger, but does that make it a burger topping?

every time I have it, I’m pretty happy, but I’m not sure if this is blasphemous in someway

Sure it's a burger topping. And a pretty common one.

Doing burgers tonight... Don't have any of my usual grind so I got some 73/27 ground beef from the store this morning.

Placate them with a fake accent?  They get offended.

Placate them by holding up a bible upside down?  You get their vote.

I miss vidalia onions.  All the produce in AZ is from out Californy-way.

A thing I don't much like with a burger is the bun.  I understand that when at McDs they do not provide cutlery, so the sandwich concept is on point.  At home, I eschew the bun and just chew the meat, no bread.  My wife likes her burger "blu rare", which I was told not to eat by my mom.

I usually do provolone, pickles, and mayo. Griddled onions if I'm feeling less lazy. Still working out my Oklahoma smash Burger - I always seem to get too much brown on the onions.

Some people get weird about non-traditional things, or traditional things, like beans.

Uhhh, you beat us in overtime.  You win 2 out of 3 and start to get lippy??  We still have 17 of the last 20.

We did indeed.  :)
