Yup, I got to see the Scorpions in their prime.  It was a great show.  Winger opened up for them.

But I don't pay crazy money to see ANYONE perform anymore.  I hate large venues, my arena days are long gone.  There's so much local talent playing $10 or even no-cover shows at local joints, the kind of small clubs that I prefer, I really have no need to see old farts touring.

I'd laugh if some team goes say 2-2 OOC and 6-2 in conference play and wins the tie breaker to go to Atlanta, wins, then gets the bye.

I saw the Scorpions with this new band called Def Leppard backing them.

I’m not a big fan of Vegas myself, but we’re being sent by a vendor.  Essentially if we do enough business with them they pay for our flights, hotel, and take us out to eat etc. We’re staying in the Venetian, which is super nice. I don’t gamble much, I probably lost about $40 last year. We have some friends that are going on the same trip.  It’s a very nice time, especially since we didn’t take a real vacation this year.

Who gets a paper check these days?  Probably only those among us who can least afford to cash their checks at the casino, and the lack of IQ to deny themselves this “treat”.
