I don't know that I've ever had spam...

But I might try it. I'm sure it's not good for me, but things like this will cover quite a few dietary sins:

You are much more susceptible to "TDS" when you operate in an environment where the other side is flat invisible.  At that point it is easy to think that only abject nutcases could possibly vote for the other side because you don't know and interact with any real people who do.
This is an interesting point.  We took a trip into the north Georgia mountains and I saw ONE Harris sign, and probably 300 Trump signs.  Around here, nobody puts up a Trump sign, I bet there wasn't one in five miles of me.  So, any local discussion about it would lead one to believe EVERYONE is for Harris, how could ANYONE vote for Trump?

Way Better than hotdogs
make them like BLT just replace bacon with thinly sliced grilled spam - that was good to

And don't forget

There is a semi-famous (infamous?) quote from after the 1972 election in which a member of liberal circles allegedly said "I can't believe Nixon won.  I don't know anyone who voted for him."  Note that Nixon won more than 60% of the vote in 1972.

When you look at the polling data, there are a LOT of democrats in demographic/geographic areas where they basically never knowingly interact with a Republican.

I might have made up the saying, but the underlying fact has always been true. SPAM is manufactured by Hormel Foods at their plant in Austin, MN.

Taking #1 and #2 together, I realized that I literally live in one of the lowest immigration areas in the whole country and illegal immigrant crime is a MAJOR problem HERE.  If it is that bad here, it has to be devastating in higher immigration locales.  This is just one of the costs that we pay.

It is a low immigration area, especially because a lot of it is still rural.. WHICH I LOVE.

My cousin has a good friend that's on the police force down 18 in Fairlawn and they have a wave of crimes from illegal immigrants and now some new gangs in the area that they're confident aren't here legally. Up north in Cuyahoga County, it's become noticeably different as well. Luckily, my family and I live in the area most south in Cuyahoga county and border both Medina and Summit counties and it's quiet and away from most of humanity.

Hopefully term 1 just met some roadblocks because of politicians trying to play the game and term 2 is just bulldozing over lifelong politicians and it wasn't all just a show and BS.

I'm going to push back a little bit on this.   It isn't that it is totally absent among Conservatives/Republicans but it is MUCH less prevalent.
I would push back on that. I think it is even more prevalent among Republicans. Ohio went for Trump handily, 55 to 43(ish). But many states were less competitive. Further, in Ohio, I didn't do a count but my my eyes about half of all counties went to Trump by 70% or more, which gets into the "no one I know voted for Harris" territory.

And certainly, we saw some real world examples. Trump spread the lie that the 2020 election was stolen, and supported with a box of peanuts and a fever dream, but people were a lot more likely to believe it, mostly because a lot of his supporters knew hardly anyone who voted for Biden.

Eh, I'm not so sure TBH.

Immigration became the single most important issue to me long before Trump came along when I noticed how much my little city spends per year on translators for our Court.  Then I looked it up and:
    • Ohio is one of the lowest immigration states in the Union.
    • Medina (my county) is one of the lowest immigration counties in Ohio.
Taking #1 and #2 together, I realized that I literally live in one of the lowest immigration areas in the whole country and illegal immigrant crime is a MAJOR problem HERE.  If it is that bad here, it has to be devastating in higher immigration locales.  This is just one of the costs that we pay.

Because of this, I was a big supporter of Trump back in 2016 because he was the first credible candidate in generations who actually took the side of the American people on the immigration issue.  Unlike the others, he didn't fold to the donor class and their insatiable demands for ever more cheap labor.

Then he got into office and I'm pretty sure I built more fence at my house from 2017-2020 than he built wall on the US/Mexican border.  I hope the second term is a lot less talk (and tweet) and a lot more action.

You do realize that Biden immediately reversed virtually all of Trump’s border policies with his own executive orders right? Including halting work on the border wall that was under contstruction.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.
