My eye doc's scheduler told me get does 17 a day, usually only on Wednesday.  17.  I guess he is proficient even though he went to Dook.

If you start seeing "halos" or fuzziness around lights at night, you probably need this.

He probably forgot. You're all good.

My only thing is... 8 weeks of rehab. I guess that can be looked upon as good and bad. Can't lift anything over 5 pounds for a long ass time, but I can do cardio, which has been lacking in my life for 6-8 months. I'm a slug.

Been through a hernia rehab. That was not easy.

Never had a liver transplant, but I probably should. I'll know more on that after today's bloodwork.

Eyes are good, minus the need to wear 2.0 readers. Distance is near perfect.

A thing folks forget in times like this is how time consuming it is to get legislation of any note passed.  It's one thing to promise the World, like Obama did, and quite another to get it implemented.  (Not just Obama, it's common.)

This year Thanksgiving is with my i s c & a aggie wife's parents.  We alternate every year, and this is their year.  They never do a traditional Thanksgiving meal, they always do something like enchiladas or King Ranch casserole, which is fine with me, but it pisses my wife off.  She loves traditional Thanksgiving food.  She's already asked me to ask my parents if they can pack a to-go of everything for us to pick up later in the evening, which they will of course do.

So now, just when you think winning the State marching band championship is the end of it all, oh no, nope, there are two more open/invitational band contests that they're competing in.

Today and tomorrow we'll be back in San Antonio for the Bands of America San Antonio Super Regional competition at the Alamodome, and then next week they're going to Indianapolis for the Bands of America Grand Nationals competition at Lucas Oil Stadium. 

So, wish us luck.  This time our "little" 5A band will be going up against some of the biggest national 6A powers in the state, and the country.

I asked my son-in-law (the chef) if he would spatchcock the turkey and cook it on my smoker
