You may want to consider staying in your lane when it comes to civil engineering, stormwater management, storm surge hydraulics, etc.

There is a lot of ignorance out there on this topic. People who live here are mostly ignorant about it too.

Newsflash: It's 2024. You cannot get a permit to build a house in a flood-prone area. That development I spoke of upthread, where my friend's boat was on his lawn and his RV turned into his boat is this:



And it would never be allowed to proceed today.
