In other news, I've had no alcohol since Sunday, which for most folks would not be anything, but for me, it's good, I plan to continue.  For some reason, I feel better in the AM.

Walz seems like a nice guy.  Governor for a state of about 5 million people of mostly homogenous groups is probably not all that hard.  There's more people in the Houston area than all of Minnesota.  Border State to Canada, where more people are probably trying to get out than get in.  Seems to be fully onboard the kids to trans movement.  

Doesn't really matter, because I wouldn't vote for Kamala unless she's running against Hitler (the real hitler, not what some call Trump) and even then I might have to think about it for a few seconds.

Oh, obviously, I find it all somewhat entertaining.  It beats being pessimistic.

And I think whoever is President doesn't matter as much as many think.  Their appointments can have consequences, how they run their Administration and foreign policy, but legislation comes from a divided Congress.  My life personally hasn't changed much at all whether Trump was President or Biden or Obama.

I won't say that about Bush unfortunately.

I rather like Shapiro, to be honest. He was the choice that gave her the best chance, in my opinion.

Her choice brings nothing to the table. Minnesota is not in play for the GOP and probably won't be for a long time, if ever.

the bottom line is the VP pick typically doesn't matter. I think both candidates picked sh*tty VP's to be honest. Most people hadn't ever heard of either of the VP picks until a month ago for JD Vance and a few days ago in the case of the white male Karen from MeeeehnEEEESODDDDA.

This is however a rare case where it might've actually mattered a tiny bit had Kamalala Word Salad Verbal Diarrhea of the mouth picked Shapiro. Pennsylvania is one of the 2-3 most important states up for grabs in this election. Whoever wins Pennsylvania....probably wins the election. Shapiro is a hugely popular governor in the state of Pennsylvania- he was the most popular governor in the history of the state a year into his term according to polling. Any little edge she could've tried to gain to win PA...she should've taken it. Not to mention....appealing to the center. Shapiro appeals to the center far more than this looney f*cking tunes white male Karen who believes men need tampons and guys with dicks are women.
