They're definitely trying to make a point about their belief in the strength of current leadership in the oval office.

Of course, the USSR flew these kinds of missions dozens of times per year during the Cold War.  It's just more saber rattling.

It doesn't bother me.  If anything it's a terrible sign of Russia's current weakness, having to call in Daddy China to stare down mean old USA.  It's pretty pathetic when you think about it.

That's why I don't like it. The two combined is a lot of power. Russia alone is not scary, aside from their massive nuke arsenal. But will they fire if needed? (half kidding)

Russia has pretty nearly decapitated itself, all on its own.  Their culture of mass corruption consumed its armed forces from the inside out long before the ill-fated attempt at conquering Ukraine, and all that's left is a sickly shell that even NATO's 2nd and 3rd generation old weapons are decimating on a daily basis.  Aside from the nukes, they're a toothless bear.

Will they use the nukes?  Who knows. But being China's little bitch won't change that one way or the other.

This is a demonstration from China showing that they own Russia, completely.  But dickface putin is too arrogant to understand that he's being led around by the leash.  Truly pathetic but from a threat standpoint, there's nothing to it.  Hollow, and empty.

As for China, as always their threat has been an economic one, not a military one.  Even the potential brewing military crisis in Taiwan is based on the moves they wish to make in the economic war.  They have no desire to engage militarily with the US.  But they've got so many internal problems now, their ultimate goals can't and won't be realized.

Putin is crazy. You never know what crazy is gonna do when backed into a corner - which is happening.

He's backing himself into a corner entirely of his own making.  He could end the war he himself started, at any time.  It's the one thing that is entirely within his own power to do.
