Interesting article from NBC comparing Biden vs Trump polling to Harris vs Trump polling.  There really isn't much difference:

Harris is the same per NBC (down 2%) and Fox (down 1%), better per CBS (down 3% vs down 5%) and worse per NPR (up 1% vs up 2%).  


I thought this was interesting:
Among the Republicans unsatisfied with Trump as the nominee:

  • Trump led Biden by 46%, 63-17.  
  • Trump leads Harris by 57, 73-16.  
So Republican leaning voters unsatisfied with Trump are LESS likely to flip to Harris than they were to flip to Biden.  I find that interesting and problematic for Harris.  

The only real demographic polling difference between Biden and Harris is that Harris is slightly better among black voters while Biden is slightly better among white voters.  So theoretically the switch helps the D's in heavily black states and helps the R's in heavily white states but I'm not sure that you'd find any battleground states amongst either of those groups.

Eh, I don't think it matters.  The pro-Palestinians on the far left might not like it but it isn't like AOC is going to buy a MAGA hat and vote for Trump.  Where can she go?

It would be a talking point for the GOP. Given how desperate the left is to keep power, I don't think their strategists will want to give that talking point.

Not sure VP pick really matters. I am sure it never mattered to me when I vote for president. 

I can’t even remember who Hillary picked for her VP (not that I voted for her).

no offense this is mind-numbingly ignorant rhetoric. 

supporting the Palestinian people against the horrific onslaught, ethnic cleansing and apartheid committed upon them by the state of Israel does not make them terrorists or supporters of terrorists.

Hamas is a symptom of the disease of Israel’s occupation, apartheid, and brutality of the Israeli government towards the Palestinian people for the last oh- 7-8 decades. Hamas isn’t the first radical Islamist group in Palestine to oppose Israeli occupation  and brutality and they won’t be the last. The horrific criminal barbaric actions of the Netanyahu government (which crazily believe it or not has been propping Hamas up by transferring funds in excess of billions with a B dollars to Hamas) almost guarantees that. Insurgency math and all.

What specifically is "mindnumbingly ignorant" in his post?

He is merely noting that a Jewish VP selection might not find favor with some Democrats/liberals.  Some Palestinians are very clearly terrorists by any metric.

He said nothing whatsoever about the origins of their terrorism.

Jewish/Israeli isn’t really an ethnicity. Judaism is a religion not an ethnicity and Israel is a nation that is only roughly 80 years old and it’s basically a colonizer settler state whose entire population is Eastern and Central European white people and their descendants- which conquered Palestine via mass immigration, bloodshed, and ethnic cleansing.
