You tend to be both terse and cantakerous. And then you blame everyone else for not reading into what you type to understand what you really mean. It's not a good combination.
Maybe instead of using whatever shorthand exists in your head and assuming we're all going to be able to divine from the pile of pig entrails you give us what you really mean to say, you can spell it out once in a while?
You must be correct.
But I did quote and reply to 3 posts, all of which spelled it out on my end. To the point of overkill. And still.......
I can't put the water in their mouths. I am exactly how you say I am. And it's because I'm routinely dumbfounded at the utter iniability for some here to simply read what I type and not "read" what they thought I typed.
I have not once suggested the US education stats are good or defensible or anything at all. I never once even opined on them.
My complaint was that nowadays there's so many opinion polls instead of data. That's it. That's all.
And from that, I get multiple jack-wagons asking for data, demanding data to defend US education, suggesting I'm trying to defend US edcuation because I'm a teacher.
I am terse. Cantankerous.
I'm afraid I'm also seen with shit-colored glasses by a percentage of the people here. I'm often left expecting to defend positions I never suggested in the first place.
And that's bullshit. Cincy's last post is bullshit. "Hmmph, so you can't produce the data..." No, dipshit, because that's not the point.
My strongly preferring data over opinion polls doesn't mean I need to produce the data connected to your opinion polls.
It's not on me that he's fucking lost. Sorry. I am guilty of failing to connect the dots for other people, especially online. But I will be guilty of that the rest of my life, because you can't waste time reaching everyone when no one's paying you to.
And none of it matters.
