If that group of people were on my team, I'd question why that was and want to distance myself as far as I could from them.  Yes, it was embarrassing for Rs, but it has not led to any movement away from that crowd or their cult leader.

When a crowd gathered to hear you speak starts chanting wacky shit, you don't go along with it.  You tell them to stop and explain why.  I think McCain did that multiple times.  Now, he wasn't a prototype R candidate, but he was decent enough to stop his supports from saying Obama was an Arab or that Hillary should be locked up.

No they didn't. Robert Mueller was tasked with investigating Trump's connections with Russia. It had nothing to do with overturning any election. It was a legal process supported by Republicans and Democrats, and didn't result in any overturning of anything.

It was a BS effort bought and paid for by the Clinton campaign and it cost close to $40 Million dollars of our money. Not to mention the FBI's abuse of FISA warrants, etc. Everyone was out to get Trump, and they still are.

If they had actually found something and brought charges, he would have been impeached, found guilty by the Senate, and removed from office.

Meh.  I think the Rs and many others Were numb to such a small effort after watching what they saw during the summer of BLM.  Mega riots with tons of destruction, many of it of government property, injuries, and death of innocent bystanders    Rewarded by the Ds and media.  Completely unpunished with few arrests, no bail For the few who were arrested, and huge payouts for many after the fact when they sued. 

The January 6 rioters were idiots.  For some reason they thought that they would receive equal protection.
