You do make things up, often, and are wrong, often.  Anyone half paying attention should know the House remains in Republican hands even if the margin is slim.  They just had this ruckus over the Speaker, it was all in the news.  The Speaker, you know, generally selected by the majority party in the House?

Third in line?  Used to be Pelosi?  Ring any bells?

well I vote we don't even pay the Senators and take all their pay and give it to the troops. and their illegally obtained insider traded stock portfolios as well.

well he's kinda right. in spirit. 

Trump hasn't really been a massive boon to the Republicans. That red wave never materialized in 2022 and they've tended to lose more elections than they've won since he's been in the picture.

Their insider trading was not illegal until a few years ago.  And of course it still happens.

Even now, all it takes is a quiet word to "Cousin Willy" that it would be a good time to pick up some call options on Lockheed.

This happens all the time and I would guess it is less with the actual elected reps than the staffs. Elected reps have a lot to lose, staffers not so much.
