the only question is .. did he pay her to influence an election?
if a guy is running for an elected office....... probably, it's one reason for sure.

I suppose a guilty verdict could be overturned on a technicality
I'm not a lawyer, but I've stayed in plenty of Holiday Inn Expresses in the past 3 years

I'm not sure why he even bothered to pay her hush money.  Clearly his supporters don't give a rat's ass that he banged a porn star.

The charge was falsifying business records, with an intent to either avoid taxes, influence an election, or something else.

To me, it's a strange charge.

He said he didn't bang her, and even if he did (highly likely) it is not a crime.

She was paid for sure. She didn't hush, for sure. Michael Cohen (convicted felon/liar) paid her and billed the Trump Organization. Not a crime.

The allegations were not about the payment. It was about where the money came from and how it was reported from an accounting standpoint. All businesses could be charged with something as vague. I'm 100 percent on that.

That prosecutor ran on "getting Trump". That was his playbook. Favorable judge. Favorable Jury. Anyone with a brain knew he would be convicted.

Nobody cares about that stuff anymore. We've certainly had some pretty slick leaders over the years.

This deep appeal of Trump by about 30% of the population is "interesting", to me.  The more radical stuff he says, they more they like him.  I think it's not issue related, it's more about how they think he's going to "hit back" and shake things up and really do stuff by not being a politician.  

The immigration thing obviously is a big part, but another part is shaking things up in DC, somehow, and oil drilling (even though we're at record levels now).

The more years I exist, the more I think they simply never learned what hypocrisy means, and so with that ignorance, it's not such a big character flaw when you look in the mirror.  

The bible-thumping team is the team cool with Trump's words and actions.  It literally makes no sense.
