There are nearly 2 billion Muslims in the world.  I think the vast majority are just trying to live their lives and raise a family, if they have one.  It doesn't take many obviously to attempt bad things in the "name of Islam" etc.  Human beings resort to extreme tactics when they are vastly out numbered and out resourced and believe, or are taught to believe, they have been wronged.  This is true for nonMuslims in history obviously.

My guess is he or she feels compelled to take some steps lest they be accused of favoritism etc.  This is a media show.  I suspect every act by them is predicated on media imagery.  And maybe they fear a civil suit.

video shows nothing about the cop's first interaction with Scottie, unless the first interaction occurs after he makes the turn and the cop runs up to the side of the car

I assume from the police report..... officer grabbed the vehicle and Scottie didn't stop and officer was pulled and torn his pants.
This must have happened while the vehicle was behind the buss, before he turned into the driveway

as for the dumbass trying to hype the entire video...... cop wasn't close to shattering a windshield or a side window - its a side window.
Didn't appear to me that Scottie was dragged out of the vehicle.
yes, multiple officers had their hands on him, but dragging infers he wasn't on his feet.

Well now you have 1 version as told by police. And a 2nd version told by Scheffler, corroborated by 2 eyewitnesses, and a video that at the least, does nothing to harm the credibility of the Scottie/ eyewitness version.

My guess is the City is holding these charges as current hoping to get an agreement not to be sued, then it will go away.
