Wish I had bought some Invidia earlier.
Best investment we have made along with eli lily.  Wife said we needed to buy them quite awhile ago.  Been a great ride up.  Only problem is part of it is in our non-qualified account, so going to be quite a bit of capital gains when we sell (not any time soon).

Might want to consider doing some now, depending on tax bracket stuff.

We have a NQ account too and use it to contribute to our Roths every year.

By "non-qualified", do you mean taxable?

  • A non-qualifying investment is an investment that doesn't have any tax benefits.
  • Annuities are a common example of non-qualifying investments as are antiques, collectibles, jewelry, precious metals, and art.
  • Non-qualifying investments are purchased and held in tax-deferred accounts, plans, or trusts and returns from these investments are taxed on an annual basis.

A thing I've done when I get too much of a specific stock is write covered call options.  That doesn't help with taxes, but this is in my IRA.

If the price goes up further, the stock sells out from under me, which is OK.  If it doesn't I get an extra premium.

Mean not tax protected.  As to converting, up to including this year we made too much money. Now that we are retired we will be able to do a bit of tax bracket management in the future.

Georgia DOT to Demolish Talmadge Bridge | Roads and Bridges (roadsbridges.com)

This is a pretty impressive bridge in Savannah, and now it's viewed as too low?  It was finished in 1991.  They say they will tighten the cables to raise the deck a little.

An odd thing is that it's four lanes, which sounds fine, but it narrows to two lanes into South Carolina.

Its a beautiful mother bridge - kellys heroes (youtube.com)
