It's an opinion obviously, I don't consider myself "very affluent".  I'm satified, paying bills is not stressful, in large part because I watch my expenses.

To most folks who reside in Brazil, I'd be considered wealthy.

I personally would attach the term to someone in the top one percent of wealth in the US.

Have the campus protests mostly faded now, or is it just the news cycle has moved on?

I view these things as fads, like BLM protests, young folks like to feel "involved" somehow, then they lose interest.

Most have dissipated since the schoolyear ended.  A few were ongoing.  I think the one in Ann Arbor was just broken up using police to clear out the illegal encampments.
