Exactly how I feel about our move to Florida from Illinois.

The local policies in our town there were fantastic. Always had a surplus.

Chicago and Springfield were the problem.

My town had the largest police force per capita in the country.

It became that big after the Brown's Chicken massacre. That site is now a Chase Bank but stood vacant for almost 30 years.

I couldn't live with myself if I ever skipped a vote. It's a right and a civic duty and I take it very seriously.
I actually became permanent vote-by-mail because I had a couple of elections that I ended up having last minute business trips but it was too late to register absentee. I remember watching the 2012 election results come in from a bar in Canada.

That said, here in California I might as well not even fill out my ballot for President or Senate, for all the good it will do. I don't have a problem with the electoral college, but I know full well that it renders my vote completely and utterly pointless.

Yes, because between the two of us, I'm sure *I'm* the one with the reputation on this board for knee-jerk uninformed ideological reactions to everything. :57:

Yeah, same here in Texico.  It is what it is, I suppose.  Which is precisely why I focus so much on local elections.

the dems have Brandon and the American would vote for my cat first rather then him

yes Brandon is doing everything he can to suppress the next election but it wont work
How is it that all of your opinions run contrary to what is?  There's exactly one party that would love to suppress voter turnout, and you're their victim member.

Do you have any original ideas?  You're a Fox News parrot, and it's embarrassing.

This is the exact reaction I expected.
It has nothing to do with the subject of my post.
