We travel maybe twice a year internationally. Of late, the time to get through the regular lines has been 2-3 minutes. Last time I watched a person go through GE and they finished MAYBE a minute ahead of me, at best. I'm sure she will complain she had to wait 2 extra minutes. The last time we came in we waited 30 minutes for our luggage anyway.
The ATL has a glitch in that the International Terminal built a great expense only has 11 gates, so at least half the time, you arrive on Concourse F instead. Then you walk "forever" to get to the Intl Terminal to go through customs, and then for whatever reason your luggage takes forever. If you come in from Canada, you deplane at the regular terminal because you already cleared customs, BUT your luggage goes to the Intl Terminal, and they don't tell you that.
