We had a nice concert last night, Beethoven's Ninth, and we have a new lady music director, Natalie Stutzman, who despite her name is French. They had a small party after and we met her and my wife spoke to her in French and relayed a message from Louis Langree' who was the music director in Cincinnati (who we got to know a bit also). He had given my wife a text message to pass on to Natalie that caused some laughter for her.
I really have a hard time understanding how a human is capable of constructing such a symphony. Then there is the musicianship to perform the thing with a 200 voice choir.
