coming in September, staying with family don't know where they live exactly yet, I'll get that info soon, but I know it's 15-20 min drive into Austin. I'll be renting a car so I'll be willing to travel everywhere and anywhere lol.

And I like everything man. I am not a picky eater, I eat it all as long as it's good. It's Texas, so I imagine the BBQ and Mexican food has to be about as good as it gets, and I'd like to try that. I've heard of Franklin BBQ, is it as good as the hype? I've also heard it can be a bitch just to get in.

I recall when Japan had the second largest economy and folks feared they would overtake us.  Japan has a population problem.

Yup.  They were buying property in LA and SF and everyone thought they'd eventually own all of the USA.

I think only a national chain can stay in business while being bad.  A local place cannot for long unless they are cleaning money.

There was a place near me in Cincy, Asian place, that never had customers, and stayed in business for years, is still there, I ate there once or twice, they treated me OK but I was the only person dining.

I don't eat fast food unless I'm with someone that is hell bent on it.

I will be forced to eat Taco Johns, but I will refuse Taco Bell - I'll simply go hungry

of course skipping a meal and fasting a few hours won't hurt me
