I disagree, I think it'll charge up the Dem base hardcore and send Dems out in droves to the polls and might even flip women that were on the fence that might've for sure voted Republican had this not been overturned but may now vote Democrat over this single issue.
yes I understand the dems will try to make it an issue

Its very possible that SCOTUS will not overturn the law and everyone will go back to sleep

I don't think Trump wants DeSantis as VP. He'll get Florida without DeSantis being on the ticket- Florida has officially turned red. He'd need someone who can help bring him an important swing state like PA or Michigan or Wisconsin or shockingly Georgia...all states which he lost in 2020.
I don't see either one benefitting from that partnership.  I also don't think geography matters.  Trumpers are Trumpers.  He needs someone to get back those suburban white women he lost.  Marsha Blackburn?

It's funny that the party who hates government overreach wants Roe v Wade reversed.
.
Is there a word for that?  There should be a word for that.
Self governance over the creative whims of the robed judicial fiat?

They wouldn't be overturning a law.   They are empowering us to govern ourselves again.

My point is that this is probably much ado about nothin

When the dust settles the other 8 judges may very well vote to keep the law as it is

Is that a fancy, inaccurate acronym for 'hypocrite?'

no its allowing the people to choose what they want

you could kinda look at it as democracy pro choice

Nice spin.

Let's have some places remove the choice of the individual.
Yeah, it's like allowing people to choose what their neighbors can do, I mean choose what they want!

This is obviously a contentious subject likely to produce inflamed passions which perhaps we should avoid here.

We as a society have difficulty when basic rights collide.  We have difficulty anyway.

Tim Scott is my choice for the R nomination.

I'd rather DeSantis stay here, and see Florida eliminate term limits for the Governor.

Personal attacks are not well liked here.

And, yes, it's contentious. Thankfully I have managed to tune out the MSM noise on this subject for 50 years.

THIS SHOULD NOT BE A POLITICAL THING.

90 percent of the people don't even know WTH Roe v Wade even is.

I do not understand Texas football - at all.  The above is astonishing to me.  I get that it's coaching, OK, fine, but even a modestly decent coach should do pretty well there.
