You think I"m bad, and now you're talking tough about Twitter:  the single largest cesspool of trolling the planet has ever known?

MMMMMMMkay.
why are you so afraid of free speech

do you really want a world where you can shut out a political party from speaking

Yes people will sometimes speak trash but at least the others will have a chance to decide for themselves if its trash or not

I don't think he is afraid of free speech.

I think what he's saying is if you have a problem with anything he posts/says on here....watch out....because he's like a puppy dog compared to the animals you'll see on Twitter.

Not sure bout that

OAM sets a pretty high bar

just kidding

My approach to twitter will simply be as an observer

I fully expect the mud to fly but as long as both sides can throw it all is well

It's less 'mud' and more 'biggest log a blue whale can possibly pinch out.'

I'll never understand how you get this from my post.

TWTR is going to "manage" content, they have to, maybe less than before, but at some point a platform just becomes so rife with obvious garbage and disinformation it no longer is appealing to anyone sane.  I think over time we'll see less change than some hope and expect, or it devolves into an absolute mess of BS.

I'm enjoying the meltdown.

Thanks to MDOT for pointing out all of those major websites being owned by billionaires.

But you forgot this website in your post about the major outlets.

Me, Drew and ELA all have a shared motto.

"Why make BILLIONS when we can make MILLIONS??"

I don't find it at all surprising that major corporations owned mostly by one person are owned by billionaires.

The largest shareholder for most of them is Blackrock and Vanguard and JPM et al.

Outdoor cooking space is complete.

Had the cage redone, and now the pool tiles are being done. Last will be the pool deck/lanai floor. Then I think I'm done, until I have to get a roof.

It looks more indoor than out.

I was thinking of an outdoor cooking spot when we lived in Cincy (besides the grills).  I sort of had one cobbled together and was thinking of something more substantive.  I do miss that house at times, it had a great backyard.  We finished under the deck with a ceiling with fan, it was awesome.  Part was screened in.  The under deck ceiling was a tremendous option for us, and didn't cost that much, complete with gutters etc.

I don't miss the yard work and the winters.

It's kinda indoor/outdoor. Covered, but enclosed by the lanai cage. It stays dry.
