Our legal code obviously is based on English law in most states.  One would learn such things in law school or just by reading.

And there is influence from the Bible of course or Hammurabi or whatever, an evolution of older criminal codes into ours.  They pretty much all outlaw the strong taking advantage of the poor, theft, violence, murder, pretty much common themes throughout the world on the basics.

One can of course claim it's from white folks as our FFs were white folks, and the state leaders were white folks, but the code would be pretty much the same no matter who wrote it.

I THINK here we don't "register" really, but we might request either a Rep or Dem primary ballot.  This allows crossover voting of course which is a bit strange, but Ohio was the same, I think.  We have an election here tomorrow of some sort, mayor I think, about 50 people running.  Major issue is crime.  They are all going to do something about it.

Back on topic - being the victim of a robbery or most crimes sucks, and a system which doesn't care about it also sucks.If you live in these communities, and you feel cops don't care or are useless, and you can't leave, there aren't that many options available. So increases in violence would seem to be expected.

The best part is getting relentlessly mocked by smarmy White liberal elitists such as yourself who supposedly hate guns, unless the victim of the gun crime is White while the armed criminal isn't.
