high of 62 expected here today, low 40s over night, got some rain very early this morning

furnace/air conditioner hasn't run in a couple weeks

electric bill was $62.90 for last month - no natural gas or propane

October was always my fav month of the year

weather, football, baseball, hunting and fishing

got my heating system inspected last Monday

result upstairs heating unit good

downstairs heating unit has to be replaced (17 years old)

so after spending $4,400 the new one will be installed tomorrow

Down to 25 F now, no snow falling.  The street behind us is covered with about an inch.  Higher elevations have had snow for a while of course.  Altitude has an impact on our breathing.  Duh.

One time I pulled into a McD's early on a saturday going to work and pressed for time I got a couple of McMuffin's and parked in the lot to eat.
