After two days of incessant rain, today looks to be very nice and sunny, yay. We have reservations at what some say is the finest restaurant in the city tonight, we'll see, pre fixe menu.
I had to get an e check on the car yesterday, it was different from how they did it in Cincy, didn't have to get out of the car and worry about someone mangling my clutch.
There is a waiver if you're over 65 and drive less than 5,000 miles a year, but your car has to be 10+ years old, which would be the type to have issues. $25.
My book sales maxed at ten in one day, and now I think everyone who wanted one bought it. I don't write to make money of course which is a good thing. My wife said she finished it yesterday and thought it was moving, which is good, she doesn't read as well in English obviously. There must be some really good authors extant who can't find and agent or publisher willing to do anything serious, I don't know how folks get found. (I don't think I'm one of them.) I know Grisham's first book languished until "The Firm" took off.
