After two days of incessant rain, today looks to be very nice and sunny, yay.  We have reservations at what some say is the finest restaurant in the city tonight, we'll see, pre fixe menu.  

I had to get an e check on the car yesterday, it was different from how they did it in Cincy, didn't have to get out of the car and worry about someone mangling my clutch.

There is a waiver if you're over 65 and drive less than 5,000 miles a year, but your car has to be 10+ years old, which would be the type to have issues.  $25.

My book sales maxed at ten in one day, and now I think everyone who wanted one bought it.  I don't write to make money of course which is a good thing.   My wife said she finished it yesterday and thought it was moving, which is good, she doesn't read as well in English obviously.  There must be some really good authors extant who can't find and agent or publisher willing to do anything serious, I don't know how folks get found.  (I don't think I'm one of them.)  I know Grisham's first book languished until "The Firm" took off.

My notion is we fell into a rut with dining out, which we do a couple times a week.  There are plenty of nice places in walking distance that are easy to get to and we enjoy them, but I'm interested in trying places further afield (tonight's is a 12 minute drive they say).  There are more and more places opening up in the neighborhood and places we have yet to try also.

Our travel expenses are way down for obvious reasons, so I'm thinking of spending some of that dining out.  We're headed up into the mountains next month for three nights at a nice place (on  line).  Then we'll have our first air travel in October and December, at least that is planned anyway.  Have baseball Nov and Jan.

The biggest danger to this country are all it's f#kn dipshit elected leaders, propagandistic media, and maybe even more dangerous to it is the bloated unelected bureaucracy which consists of the "intelligence" agencies and military industrial complex.

Margaritavile tower here downtown, I might need to go when they complete it was waste away a bit.  It has time shares and condos in it apparently.
