Was a caddy at 13, minimum age for caddy in Illinois.

In Illinois, you can also get jobs starting at 14 if your school counselor signs off on a work permit, which I got w/o issue as it's not like my grades were suffering. So I was a starter on a golf course starting at age 14, and I think I might have done that the summer I turned 15 as well.

Started working year-round rather than summers as I approached my 16th birthday, got a job first at Subway and then as soon as I had a driver's license I left that horrible foodservice gig and got a job selling computers at Best Buy, which I kept up until leaving for college.

Never had a Gennessee. Only time I drank prior to college was when I visited my sister at Mizzou during parent's weekend at the age of 15, and she took me out and got me hammered. Never touched alcohol beyond that, all through high school. I was a good kid.

In Illinois now, you can't start working until you are 30 y/o. And that's optional.

I was a good kid too - a tad bit tipsy but not bad.See the old man always had a keg. When it was still practal to do so,the folks would head up to the summer cottage in Marble Head by the Erie Islands. My older brother was home from college and suppose to be keeping an eye on me(I was in Middle school) but he was working and chasing skirt. He simply told me if I got in trouble he'd get in trouble.Between baseball games and practice I'd invite some of the neighborhood buds over and sip some suds.Of course my brother and his buddies usually heard about the dwindling keg.My dad had it counted down to the glass and could tell by the Co2 guage. Then I'd go up to the Erie Islands with the folks where many vacationers had Kegs on their outside patios and of course a few of us help ourselves at night. We were suspected but never caught-some good summers from what I remember

What should I do with a 9# whole pork loin?

I had to hit the Costco for my weekly run today, and saw they had a smokin' deal of $8 off a package. It's running $1.99/lb so I ended up with about a 9# loin for $10.

Trying to figure out what to do with it. I know my wife makes a mean Tuscan pork roast, so I could cut about 1/3 of it for that, but not sure if I just want to cut it into 3 roasts and vacuum seal and freeze them, or what other preparations might be possible?

Obviously it's a matter of vacuum sealing and freezing regardless, but trying to figure out how to portion it into the most useful sizes/cuts...

Make it into chops, about 1.5" thick.

Thinking of that, for at least a portion of it.

I did a google search for "pork loin roulade" and only got a few hits.

Google said a related search was "rolled stuffed pork loin". That got a lot more hits.

I wept a little inside.
