Some people just have no culture.
No RauchBier or Blind Robins for YOU

I've had some smoked beers

as with any beer, some are better than others, but none were so bad I couldn't get them sown

I'm not a big Herring fan, but I'll eat them while hunting or ice fishing if I get hungry enough

Ugh... Thought I was having problems with the new amp in the Jeep after redoing the sound system. So I packaged it up, sent it off to Alpine (along with a $95 service fee b/c I bought it cheaper off Amazon and not from an authorized seller), and figured everything would be repaired and good as new.

Nope. Came back as No Trouble Found. Of course it did. Because I'm usually the one on the other side where a customer tells me something's wrong and we get the drive back and it's behaving perfectly.

Wonder if it's the head unit just not putting anything out on those channels. Guess I'm back to the drawing board on troubleshooting.

Rauchbier goes well with American BBQ, I'll say that :72:
Indeed it does. Grodsizkie does, too!

My first two EE questions are always-- is it plugged in, is it turned on? :)

Live Oak does a version of their Oktoberfest using smoked malts, it's called Smoketoberfest.  Quite tasty.

btw, I tried a 6 pack of the SHINER HOLIDAY CHEER

Brewed by Spoetzl Brewery

Winter Seasonal Beer5.4% ABV22 IBU

A moderately dark German-style wheat beer with a banana-and-clove yeast character, supported by a toasted bread flavor.

With the Virus spiking perhaps they should send all of that up here I'll make sure it's quarantined proper

I'm not a fan.  In general, the Spoetzl Brewery has become too macro for me.  I'll occasionally drink a Shiner Bock out of nostalgia, but now they've cheapened the ingredients and use a lot of corn adjunct, and it comes through really strong in the flavor profile.
