In other news, since I had the China Virus back in March and then recovered, I went on a weight loss mission.

Not a diet, a lifestyle change. I still eat what I like and drink (too much). It's about when and why you eat. Pretty cool.
Kudos,Never had to watch my weight that much but choestrol is another story and sometimes BP.Best advice I received was write down everything you eat.Is it cleansing or clogging - in other words stay a natural as possible.I eat alot of steamed veggies and raw fruit along with Brats.pork and sirloins and an occasional pie - pizza and fruit

I don't recall anyone in the Democrat "establishment" claiming the election was rigged. By which I mean Hillary, higher-ups in the DNC, prominent Democrat House or Senate members, etc. I also don't recall anyone in the mainstream media using the term "rigged".
No, they just went on TV for 3+ years and peddled evidence-free based conspiracies that we were just "attacked in the worst attack since Pearl Harbor!" - that Trump colluded with Russia to win the election, and that Putin was in control of the Executive Branch of the US gov't. This was prominent democrats saying this sort of junk. Lol.

Damn shame, because Bernie would've won in 2016. The Democrats were running against one of the most unlikeable people ever in Trump.

Congrats my friend!

Here in the USA one of our biggest enemies is portion control.  And eating way too quickly, which is related.

Keep it up!

Yeah, that was my very next line in that same post you quoted lol- that DNC just so happened to rig their primary in order to astonishingly run one of the few people that is actually more unlikeable than Trump.

It's not that hard really.

My BCBS insurance sent it to me, through my wife's former employer (Baxter), who we still get our insurance through. Obviously they were watching the results of my physical... Big brother. Heh.

Yeah I didn't respond because I didn't want to get into it- and I was trying to heed your warnings of no more political talk- but his post was pretty naive- at best.
1) I'm not deleting any political talk on this thread or really anywhere other than the Corona thread.  But I don't speak for the ownership of this site, if they want to shut this down, they can, will, and should.  And I'm absolutely serious when I tell you (and others) to knock it off on the Corona thread.  That thread has value to the users of this message board, and protecting it is something the owners/investors of this site have explicitly told me they support.  But it's not personal, I promise you that much.

2) I don't consider bwar's post naive at all.  He's consistently among the most well-reasoned and thoughtful posters on this site.  I do think his take and his response are a little one-sided, as it doesn't represent what average rank and file Americans were hearing on a regular basis from their Democrat friends and from the media that fuels the talk of those people.  I also think bwar was quick to dismiss these people as "the worst" of that group, when from my experience it was pretty much the average-- smart, educated, passionate people, that desperately wanted to believe that an asshole blowhard like Trump stole the election using all nefarious means available.

That wasn't true, at least not in the way they insisted it was.

But being honest and critical, over the past 3.8 years Trump has certainly resorted to other nefarious means to achieve his objectives, and it wouldn't be out of character for him to hatch some super-devious plot, rather than just let the DNC eat itself up and have the Russians expose it, which is mostly what appeared to have happened.

He's definitely not stupid- can't stand when people try to say that- he clearly has some intelligence to him- or he wouldn't be where he's at. His brothers inherited millions and millions just like he did- and none went on to be world famous real estate developers, tv stars, or the president of the freaking US. He's definitely smart- and he definitely knows how to talk a great game.

The truth is- he just isn't competent enough to hatch some super-devious plot. He's an egomaniac, world class bullshit artist. But it kinda, sorta ends there.

Anyone that believes Trump is stupid, is playing right into his hands.  He's 100% fine with being underestimated, it's one of his key negotiating advantages.  And to Trump, absolutely everything is a negotiation.

He's an incredible asshole, he's unbelievably self-interested and self-absorbed, and he plays fast and loose with laws, rules, morality, ethics, loyalties... but stupid is something he certainly is not.
